Hi can anyone explain me how can i troubleshoot this error

Windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for your computer network.
(An unexpected network error occurred). Group Policy processing aborted


I have 2 pc that are windows xp sp3 that have this error when i do a
gpupdate /force and no gpo are applied

Is there a physical network connection? Are the computers in question a
member of an OU the policy is linked to? Have you run GP Result against the
computers in question from the GPMC? It should show you exactly what is
causing the error if it is a part of the policy that is not running.
