Hello we installed SUS on windows 2000 AS, we created our
gpo at the ou and did this in 3 ou's because of our setup
and needs as far as applying patches. One of our ou's is
Laptops, one is Desktops. We created the gpo's the same
way except for the action instead of download and install
it would download and prompt for install. The policy
applied to the desktops fine. Several of the laptops
when we ran gpresult didn't have the policy instead it
said Local Group Policy. I am helping several people fix
a troubled network. I watched my video again to verify
that the ou should overwrite the local policy on the
laptops can anyone give me some insight as to why my gpo
isn't applying.

We even tried gpupdate /force to try and force the policy
to update on the laptops. Still not working.

Looking at this further I am noticing from the gpresults
that on the laptops the computer policy is the Local
Group Policy. On the desktops it's showing default
domain policy. Although on the laptop when you get the
user settings it's show the default domain policy. What
would be making a local policy override a domin or ou
policy?

Anyone have any suggestions?

The Galaxy S2 was recently announced as the manufacturer's best selling smartphone, and is fast becoming the handset of choice for those who are looking for an alternative to the iPhone 4S.
