Hi,

Do I need to store .adm files in the sysvol of my domain controllers? Is it
more efficient to store them there or can I effectively add them in from
another location?

Thanks in advance,
JeffH

Hello JeffH,

If you like to add a .adm to a GPO the .adm file can be stored where you
like. By default they are located in c:\windows\inf but will be copied to
the GPO folder located in the sysvol location from it's GUI.

Best regards
