I have a logoff policy that was not working. This machine was an imaged
machine. It appears that the script folder structure
(C:\windows\system32\grouppolicy) is missing. If I create a local policy it
recreates this folder structure. What would cause this?

In the beginning there is no lgpo. When you run gpedit.msc, this creates
your lgpo and thus those folders.
Is that what you are looking for?

Yeah that is what I was looking for. The machines that the logoff script
was not working on did not have this structure so I thought that was the
problem. I created a local policy and deleted it and the structure got
created and my logoff script worked. Obviously there is something else
causing this. Thanks.
