Hi,

I have set the above domain user policy to the following exact string:

"%AppData%\Thunderbird; %AppData%\Mozilla; %AppData%\Google;
%AppData%\Sun; %AppData%\Apple Computer; %AppData%\U3; %AppData%\Sony
Corporation; %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook; %AppData%\Adobe;
%AppData%\Installshield"

However despite this the above folders get synced to the server folder
coly every time the user logs off.

The above string is less than 260 chars. Any other reason that this
'feature' shouldn't work as documented?

When running rsop at clients the above string shows up in the correct
policy folder.

Thanks for hints on this

regards

It appears that variables in the format %appdata% is not allowed here.
Anyone having a clue in which format I can use the windows %AppData%
variable here. Both the English \<user>\Application Data\ and the
Norwegian \<user>\Programdata are used by my different domain users and
I need a way to reference both without having to make a full list from
both actual folder names.

Thanks for hints on this

NO there is not, you have to put it from the point after "user name" so u have to make seperate ones from application data and Program data. One say to do this is make two policies and use the scope feature to make it apply to seperate english and norwegian users so they don't have to process both.
