Dear ALL,

I don't know if it's the right place to post this kind of problem, if it
isn't please let me know where I can.

System is a Windows 7 Professional, and since this morning a user can't
load his own profile (a system generic profile is loaded) returning an event
ID 1505.

Please, anyone of you could give me some help about this trouble?

Regards

Is a roaming profile involved? What kind of profile is it supposed to load?

Cheers,
Florian

Hi,

I got around the problem in this way:

barbara is user having trouble (barbara is not a local user but windows
2000 domain's user)

so I created barbara2

then I copied files from c:\user\barbara to c:\user\barbara2

I seems to be ok, but my question is: how can I do to "re-use" barbara user?

It seems that barbara's profile got corrupted. What I'd do is: wipe her
profile off the machine. Then have her log on in again so that another
profile is created. Copy her files from barbara2 back to barbara.

Florian
