My DCs are windows 2008 sp1. I have some clients with windows 7, I'm
starting to configure this, I want to disable windows defender with
GPO but I didn't find in the preference -> service -> windows
defender.
Do I need some admx?
Do I need to procede in other way?
Thanks

If I remember correctly, the pane only shows services installed locally
on the machine you are running GPMC from. So my first try would be
either loading Windows Defender on the DC (no, you don't want that,
really!) OR download and install RSAT on a Windows 7 machine. RSAT
includes the GPMC you can start and create the Group Policy from.

Cheers,
Florian

That's a good solution, I'll try.
Thank you.

This link could help to run the rsat with different user that has
domain rights.
