Hello,

I work with AD 2008R2. I have created a few months ago a central store for
the admx. This one had been populated with vista admx files.
But now I need to add the admx seven files to be sure that I can manage them
perfectly. For example "point and print" policies do not exist
under "computer configuration" for vista.

So I have just try to replace "vista admx files" by "seven admx files" in
the central store. But now i get a lot of errors when I open a gpo. Errors
with namespace ...

So how can I add this admx ?

Thanks for your help

You're doing this correct. The problem is that Win7 ADMX files have
slightly changed in their syntax compared to Windows Vista ADMXs. So
that's why you might get errors when opening them in Windows Vista machine.

I guess you're forced to stick to the best practice approach: have a
up-to-date machine to manage Group Policy with the updated tools loaded.
That would be a Windows 7/Server 2008 R2 machine to date.

Cheers,
Florian
